So you got a little pink did ya!


Good day everyone so happy your back today.Posting some Good craft tips on the 4th of July take a look please.

Tip:
Make your own Sunburn Soother'
To make enough for 1 bath
4 tea bags
16 tablespoon dried mint(doulbe if fresh)
1pint water 12oz
Place all ingredients in midium size sauce pan and bring to a boil over a
High heat.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 mins. remove from heat
And leave the mint to infuse for 15 mins.to strain the liguid into jar.
discard mint leaves,and allow it to cool.Dab mixture onto
sunburned reas with cotton balls or washcloth.or pour the liquid into warm bath water
you can also add tes bags and mint into the bath.
soak in mixture for 10-15mins.repeat as necessary.

Recipe
Hawaiian Plantation ice tea
1 quart Barely boiling hot water
4 orange pekoe tea bags
1 quart ice cold water
1 16ounce can pineapple juice
fresh pineapple -peeled cored and cut into spears
DIRECTIONS
Pour the barely boiling hot water into a large pitcher, and add the tea bags. Steep the tea 2 to 4 minutes. Remove the tea bags, and pour in the ice water. Pour in the pineapple juice. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, about 1 1/2 hours.
Pour the tea over ice, garnish with pineapple spears, and serve.

its been horrible and rainy in Liverpool lately so no chance of getting sunburnt like you funny pic!! We are all eating winter comfort food and puttig our jumpers back on again!! I bet its always hot in Southern California..I have been as far as San Luis Obispo when I travelled across the US in 2000 after getting married in Vegas..

Lorraine so happy you dropped by.Yes very hot here it's in high 80's right now.I live in riverside,S.Calif. Last week was 106 was aweful here the air like Las Vegas dry heat.Must have been so wonderful travelling in the Us.
Lots to do here in S.Calif. Im so glad we don't have that cold foggy weather right now.Not that Calif gets to cold.Big hug come again soon visit me.Ill do the same.

Hi there! Just popped in through Lorraine's blog and am very interested to see your sunburn soother recipe (not that there's much call for it over here right now - we've had midsummer's day, just not the summer bit!!!). However, am really intrigued - what is Friend Mint please?? I've never heard of it - can any other mint be used? Nice to 'see' you - LOVE all your quotes by the way!! ;o)

Hi anne thank so much for asking me that i fixed the recipe now it's
dried mint i miss typed it.duh on my part was thinking at the time got this from a friend few years ago.And it did work.Im so sorry for the mis up. please drop by again and thank you for telling me about that.
