Rose isn't just a Rose

Rose isn't just a Rose

Pasadena, the City of Roses, is most famous on New Year's Day for its Rose Parade and Rose Bowl football game. The number of people in the city balloons every year after Christmas as visitors come from all over to decorate and view the floats, as well as to attend arguably the most famous college football bowl game of the year.

The 120th Rose Parade themed Hats Off To Entertainment, will take place on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. (PST) featuring spirited marching bands from throughout the nation, majestic floral floats, and high-stepping equestrian units.

Tip
Try this removing Hard water stains from fiberglass tub.
WD-40 works wonderfully to remove hard water debris from fiberglass. Spray it liberally anywhere you see the buildup, allow it to sit for about five minutes, and then use a non-abrasive sponge or pad to wipe it away. WD-40 also works wonders on glass shower doors for removing water stains.
Make paste of equal parts of baking soda and white toothpaste. Use a soft sponge to apply the paste to the hard water buildup and allow it to sit for about five minutes. With a clean sponge, sponge away the solution and rinse with clear water.
In a plastic spray bottle, combine one-half cup of white distilled vinegar with one cup of hot water. Spray (or pour) the entire contents onto the hard water buildup and allow it to sit for at least three hours, and then rinse away.
