Recipe
Spiced Nuts
3 cups roasted pecans
1 cup shelled pistachios
2 cups almonds
1/2 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place nuts on a rimmed baking sheet. Place in oven, shaking the sheet several times during baking, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small skillet over low heat, add coriander, cumin, butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne and salt.
Stir until the butter melts and sugar is dissolved. Place nuts in a bowl, pour the warm spiced butter over the nuts; stir until well coated. Let the nuts cool completely and store in an airtight container

Holiday meat balls
Frozen meatballs (about 1 lb.)
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 cup red wine
Mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and wine in a small bowl and pour over meatballs. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Great served in a slow cooker.
Tip
Cleaning copper
Just make a thick paste of lemon juice and Salt.
