The Empty Chair by Maarten Baas
Amnesty International invited Maarten Baas to design a piece to support their campaign against the increased suppression of writers, journalists, artists and activists.
In 2010 Liu Xiaobo was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his peaceful battle for fundamental human rights, but could not accept the prize in person because he was in jail serving a 11 year imprisonment for ‘undermining of the state’.

Chinese Barbecued Spareribs
this recipe was in the times in the article by June Owen
Frist roast the ribs 55min in oven at 350 degrees
1/2 c honey
1.2 cup soy sauce
2 crushed garlic
3 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup water
in lg pan put in pan marine the put in ref. for few hrs.
preheat gas or charcoal grill on low
arreange ribs on hinged grill basket cook low over low flame, basting occasionly, 1/2 hr until rib are shiny brown and fork tender
