Recipe
Plum Jelly

(1 pound plums and ½ cup water)
prune juice

1 cup water

6 1 / 2 c. sugar

1 box of Sure-gelatin

1 tsp tea. butter

Add the juice of Sure-gel and water and bring to a boil. Add ateaspoon of butter. Add all the sugar and bring to a boil, stirringconstantly. Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. Skim andpour into jars and seal. 4 or 5 liters.To extract the juice: Wash plums. Just cover with water and boiluntil skins pop and fruit are tender. Remove from heat and letcool. Skip to jelly bag or cheesecloth.
