Stereoscope


Stereoscope and Case
The stereoscope was used during World War II. This tool helped allied photo interpreters, who analyzed images of enemy territory taken by airplane-mounted cameras, to view the film in 3-Dimension.

Recipe
Rocky Road brownies

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows, divided
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and dust with a little flour.Bring a medium saucepan of water to a simmer over medium heat. Place the chocolate and butter in a medium heat-proof bowl and set over the water. Stir occasionally until melted. Remove from the heat and cool for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a medium bowl and mix well
Combine the flour, walnuts, 3/4 cup of the marshmallows, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.Whisk the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture until well-combined. Stir in the flour mixture until combined. Pour into the pan and spread to an even thickness.
Bake for 30 minutes then top with the remaining 3/4 cup mini marshmallows and bake until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out nearly clean, about 2 minutes longer. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes before cutting.
