This work, carved in bas-relief on a giant facade, stands three stories high. It commands a wide expanse across the valley below. Thirteen figures, nine feet tall, are depicted in this glorious scene. The table is thirty feet in length. Estimated weight of this work is 125 tons. "Peace on Earth and the Brotherhood of Man," Desert Christ Park overlooks the high desert town of Yucca Valley in southern California. Here the visitor may find more than forty snow-white statues and images portraying scenes of Christ's life and teachings.

In 1960, Russian scientists working at an Antarctic base called Vostok, more than 750 miles from the South Pole, recorded a temperature of almost 127 degrees below zero!A cattle ranch at Alexandria Station, in Australia's Northern Territory, once covered some 7.2 million acres, or about 11,250 square miles, an area about the size of New Hampshire and Delaware combined! Recipe
No-Bake Mini Cheesecakes
1 pkg.(8 oz.)Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed
12 OREO Cookies
multi-colored or choclate sprinkles (optional)
Beat cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.Place a cookie on bottom of 12 paper-lined muffin cups.Spoon cream cheese mixture into muffin cups. Top with sprinkles. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
