There nothing like getting mail at christmas time.

Mail time isn't it fun getting some.
Sent my little sister & her family a package last week,
Of cheese balls ect.Just so it could give her some christmas cheer.

Small Mints
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
mint flavouring
food colouring
Cook sugar, water and cornsyrup in 2-quart saucepan Stir until sugar dissolves Cook to thread stage (232 degrees F) Add cream of tartar Beat with a wire whip until creamy Add a few drops of flavouring and food colouring Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper forming patties (keep pan over hot water) Store tightly covered.
Makes about 60
Light corn syrup substitution
For 1 cup light corn syrup substitute 1 cup dark corn syrup OR1 cup honey1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar + 1/3 cup water, boil down to a light syrup

To get scratches out of CD's use peanut butter
wipe off with a coffee filter paper.
