Recipe
Southern Corn Bread2 cups self rising corn meal1 cup of self rising flour1 egg1/4 cup vegetable oil1 1/4 cup milk (Enough milk to make the batter thin enough to pour)Mix all ingredients together well...Pour into a baking panBake at 450 degrees for approximately 10-20 minutes until golden brown.
For my stuffing
3 stakes of celery
1 dry onion
1small can chopped black oilves
1can chicken broth
1 1/2 warm water
1/2 c veg oil
3 tablesspoons sage
salt peper to taste
mix with broken corn bread
place in baking dish 350 untill clery soft or brown around sides.

Tip
Get under your turkey's skin to give it an extra punch of flavor. Whip up a mixture of butter, chopped fresh herbs and shallots -- use 1/2 cup of butter per 10 pounds of turkey - and carefully lift the skin up and rub the mixture into the meat just beneath the skin.
