Recipe
Cooking bacon in the oven
Heat the oven up to about 400 degrees F – it really does need to be this hot
put the slices of bacon on a baking tray – you may want to cut the fat off the sides as this will prevent the bacon curling as it heats up
if so desired sprinkle some black pepper onto each side before placing it into the oven
wait for about 10 minutes and check – maybe turn each slice over (not really required)
after about 15/ 20 minutes the bacon should be cooked although you could wait a little longer for extra crispyness
