Walkers with the dawn

Being walkers with the dawn and morning,
Walkers with the sun and morning,
We are not afraid of night,
Nor days of gloom,
Nor darkness--
Being walkers with the sun and morning.

Facts
Million dollars' worth of $100 bills weighs only 22 pounds.

Tip
Homemade Hair Spray
1 Lemon or orange
2 cups of water
1 ounce of rubbing alcoholChop the lemon (or an orange for dry hair). Place in a pot with the water and boil until half of the initial amount remains. Cool, strain, and place in a spray bottle. Store in Refrigerator
If it is too sticky, add more water. You can add the rubbing alcohol as a preservative and then the spray can be stored for up to two weeks unrefrigerated


Recipe
Oriental Rice Salad
1 cn Chicken Broth

1/2 c Vegetable Oil

1/2 ts Salt

2 c Diced Cooked Poultry or Pork

1/4 lb Fresh Mushrooms

2 oz Jar Pimento, sliced or diced

1 c Rice, raw

2 tb Soy Sauce

2 tb Toasted Sesame Seeds

1/4 lb Fresh Bean Sprouts

4 Green Onions
Slice mushrooms and onions. Drain pimento. Add enough water to broth to make 2 1/2 cups. Bring to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in rice. Cover tightly and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, until all liquid is absorbed; about 5 minutes. Transfer rice to large bowl. Combine oil, soy sauce, salt and sesame seeds (optional); mix well. Stir into hot, cooked rice. Cover and chill. Stir in remaining ingredients before serving.
