Out doors
Cotton balls are a great addition to your survival kit. When soaked in alcohol or Vaseline the make a great fire starter that burns long enough to get any fire going.


Recipe
Garden Tea Punch
3 tbsp. mint leaves -fresh-
2/3 cup sugar
2 Tetley Orange Pekoe tea -strong-
2 cups Water
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 l. Club Soda
1 cup orange juice
Mixing instructions:
Place water, sugar, mint and lavender or borage (if desired) in a large stainless steel or or non reactive pan. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain mixture through 100% cotton cheesecloth lined colander. Add orange juice, lemon juice and tea to flavoured water, chill. Just before serving add chilled club soda (if desired), sprinkle with flower petals (if desired) Makes approx 3 quarts or 16 (6 ounce) servings.

Thanks for the fire starter tip! We have outdoor fires in out pit all of the time and tend to run out of lighter fluid.
