Art of tree Trunks

Tree trunk art

Quote By~Unknown
It’s funny that those things your kids did that got on your nerves
seem so cute when your grandchildren do them

Facts
On average, a movie makes about 5 times more from its video sales than ticket takings!
By the age of 60, most people have lost 50% of their taste buds.
The great warrior Ghengis Khan died in bed while having sex.
85% of men don't use the slit in their underwear.
A bird 'chews' with its stomach.

Tips
Tenderize away hard-to-remove perspiration stains. Before you wash that sweat-stained sweatshirt (or any other perspiration-stained garment) dampen the stain and then sprinkle some meat tenderizer on it. Then just wash as usual.

Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken glass pieces of glass- the fibers catch ones you can't see!

Recipe
Painted Desert Chili
Mix in a JarLayer in a 1-quart jar:
1/4 cup dried parsley
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
2 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons white cornmeal
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 cup dried pinto beans
1/4 cup small dried white beans
1/4 cup small dried black beans
Approximately 1 cup dried kidney beans
The ingredients are layered, like sand art.
Don’t worry about getting the layers even. The desert effect comes from the rippled appearance of the spices. One tip is to carefully add each seasoning along the edges of the jar, then fill in the middle of the layer. This way all of the beautiful colors show along all of the edges.
On card
Pour contents of jar into 12-quart pot.Add: 1 medium diced onion 4 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes 1 large can of tomato paste 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/2 cup brown sugar 49 ounces tomato juice 2 pounds ground beef or turkey, browned

Fill remainder of the pot with water. Bring to boil. Let simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Tip
Stale bread
Restore life to stale bread by slipping it into a 325 oven in a lightly dampened paper bag. When the bag is dry, your bread will have regained its former softness. Stale bread is a natural fit for breadcrumbs, croutons.
Eggs
If you can't recall when you bought that carton of eggs and want to make sure they're still fresh, place them gently into a bowl of water. Rotten eggs will float, and the fresh ones will stay fully submerged. The fresher they are, the more quickly they will sink.

Any space vehicle must move at a rate of 7 miles per second in order to escape the earth's gravitational pull.

Tip
SLIP-FREE STAIRS For outdoor paint projects (a patio or steps), stir a little sand into each can of paint to provide better traction on rainy days. The sand functions as a grip and helps prevent falls in slick weather.
WEEDING MATERIAL If weeds have overtaken your yard, smother them with newspaper printed with soy-based ink. It will degrade naturally and add carbon to the soil. Lay four to six sheets of newspaper over weeds (a layer of cardboard also does the job), and weight them down with some rocks or a heavy branch. Cover the weeds during autumn, and by spring, you should have lovely, weed-free soil, ready for planting.http://readymade.com/resources/gardening_guidelines/

A dream within a Dream By~Edgar allan Poe
Take this kiss upon the brow! And, in parting from you now,Thus much let me avow--You are not wrong, who deemThat my days have been a dream;Yet if hope has flown awayIn a night, or in a day,In a vision, or in none,Is it therefore the less gone? All that we see or seemIs but a dream within a dream.I stand amid the roarOf a surf-tormented shore,And I hold within my handGrains of the golden sand--How few! yet how they creepThrough my fingers to the deep,While I weep--while I weep!O God! can I not graspThem with a tighter clasp?O God! can I not saveOne from the pitiless wave?Is all that we see or seemBut a dream within a dream?
