June bug

As a kid growing up in Southern California I'd play with them all the time.
They'd attach themselves to our front screen door and hiss!

Yo’re as cute as a junebuga-buzzin’ overhead. You ain’t mean like those far antsI found in my bed.- Unknown
Quote by~Francis Duggan,June
"It's beautiful the Summer month of JuneWhen all of God's own wildflowers are in bloomAnd sun shines brightly most part of the dayAnd butterflies o'er lush green meadows play.Light hearted skylark songster of the wingHigh o'er the quiet and lonely moorland singAbove her nest cloaked by the tangled heathHer charming song so exquisitely sweet. So mellow the gentle breath of june day breezeThe birds rejoicing on the leafy treesAnd dappled trout in pool bed of the streamBask in the sun their spotted skins agleam."
