Road interrupted by a sand dune, Nile Valley, Egypt. Dunes cover nearly one-third of the Sahara, and the highest, in linear form, can attain a height of almost 1,000 feet (300 m). Barchans are mobile, crescent-shaped dunes that move in the direction of the prevailing wind at rates as high as 33 feet (10 m) per year, sometimes even covering infrastructures such as this road in the Nile Valley. Mexican Rice
Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients:
1 lb Ground beef
1(16oz) jar salsa i like mild
1can mexi corn
1 1/2 c water
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 c uncooked instant rice
4oz(cuo) shredded monterey cheese
Instructions:Jack cheese Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain. Stir in salsa corn water and chili powder; bing to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff mixture with fork; sprinkle with cheese. Cover let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. 7 (1 cup) servings.
