Time in a bottle

Jim Croce/Time in a bottle/British Columbia

Jim Croce lyrics Time in a bottle
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that Id like to do
Is to save every day
Till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
Id save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
Ive looked around enough to know
That youre the one I want to go
Through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
Ive looked around enough to know
That youre the one I want to go
Through time with

Hello everyone,Hope you all have a blessed day!
Quote By~Thomas A Kempis
Remember that lost time does not return.

Its a fact:
Alexander Graham Bell,
the inventor of the telephone, never telephoned his wife or mother because they were both deaf.
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin's mother's maiden name was "Moon." Buzz was the second man to step onto the Moon in 1969.
Beethoven used to take hay baths to remedy the swelling he used to get in his legs.
During his lifetime, artist Vincent Van Gogh only sold one of his paintings
Fidel Castro was once a star baseball player for the University of Havana in the 1940's.

Tips
When your candle is burned up and you want to get the wax out of the holder, put it in the freezer for awhile. The wax contracts, loosens up, and you can dump it right out in one big piece.

How to wash a Base ball cap
Run your baseball caps in the dishwasher was the solution. Just run it on a regular cycle (without detergent) and then let air dry when it's done.
mounted a soap dish on the wall by the front door to hold my housekeys instead of soap.
If you're celebrating outside, keep a glowy path of rocks leading guests to and from .What you do is gather rocks and pebbles and cover them with a simple coat of glow-in-the-dark paint (from the craft store).
The paint works by "charging" up in the sun all day and the reflect the stored light at night. It's actually a great thing to do for Halloween, but I find it works great in summer to add light to the backyard without installing any actual outdoor lighting.

Pudgy Pies
Bread
Butter
Cherry Pie filling (or your favorite filling)
Cooking instructions:
Butter two slices of bread. Place buttered side against the iron side of a metal sandwich maker. Fill with pie filling. Close sandwich maker and hold over the fire (not too close, or your butter will burn). Check on regularly for doneness.

Hush Puppies
thanks to lynnslinks
Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup pancake mix
1/3 cup plain corn meal
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tblsp. minced onion or 1/2 c. diced onion
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup buttermilk
Cooking instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients at home & place in plastic zip-lock baggie. I use cultured buttermilk blend so all I have to do is add 1/3 c. water and the egg in camp. Then mix well & drop by spoonfuls into hot oil. Fry until golden brown all over then drain on paper towels. Makes enough for about 6 people (or 4 really hungry ones).

Variations/Hints:
You could always use real onion instead of the minced onion or onion flakes. If you do use the dehydrated onions, it would probably be best to rehydrate them in camp before adding them to the mixture.

Comments:
Don't get your oil too hot (smoking) because these don't take too long to cook & you can easily burn them.
