Recipe
Homemade Cracker jacks
3 qts popped corn3 c mixed unsalted nuts/seeds of your choice

1 c brown sugar

1/2 c DARK Karo (corn syrup)

1/2 c butter

1/2 t vanilla

1/2 t salt

1/2 t b soda

Combine popcorn and nuts in large foil turkey roasting pan.

Place in a 250 degree oven to keep warm.

Prepare glaze by combining sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in a large heavy pot. Stir constantly till at a boil over med heat. Continue to boil 5 minutes w/o stirring. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla then baking soda. Remove roasting pan from oven and drizzle the glaze evenly over the corn mixture. Stir well with a metal spoon to coat evenly. Return to oven, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
Cool and break apart.

Stovetop Baked Beans
3 slices Bacon, coarsel

1 onion chopped
2 cans (15 ounces each) Pork and Beans
1/2 cup Ketchup
2 tablespoons Spicy Brown Mustard

Cook bacon in medium saucepan over medium-high heat 5 minutes,
or until crisp, stirring occasionally.
Add onions; cook 3 minutes, or until onions are crisp-tender.
Stir in beans, ketchup, and mustard; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
Cook 20 minutes, or until sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.

Recipe
Apple Maple syrup Pie
1 Pie Crust4 peeled and sliced Apples1 cup pure Maple Syrup1 tblsp Cornstarch1 tblsp Margarine
Blend maple syrup with the cornstarch in a blender.
Shift blended mixture to a pan.
Add margarine.
Cook it over medium heat.
Stir well till the mixture becomes thick.
Place apples in the pie crust.
Pour the maple syrup mixture over the apples.
Bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.

Coffee Drop Cookies
1 cup Sugar1/2 cup Shortening1 Egg (beaten well)2 cup Flour1/2 tsp Baking soda1/4 tsp Salt1 tsp Baking powder1/2 tsp Cinnamon1 tsp Cloves3/4 cup Cold Coffee1/2 cup Raisins (chopped)1/2 cup Nuts (chopped)1 tsp Vanilla
Mix shortening and sugar together to make cream type mixture.
Combine egg.
Mix well.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves together.
Add alternately with coffee to make mixture wet.
Combine raisins, nuts, and vanilla.
Mix well.
Combine more flour if required to make a drop cookie dough.
Drop them onto greased baking sheet.
Bake them at 400 degrees F for about 10-15 minutes.

Recipe

Pull A part bacon Bread

12 bacon strips, diced

2 tubes (12 ounces each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon Italian salad dressing mix

2 teaspoons olive oil

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp.

Using a slotted spoon, remove to paper towels to drain.

Separate biscuits; cut each biscuit into quarters.

In a large bowl, combine the cheese, dressing mix, oil and bacon.

Place half of the biscuit pieces in a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan;

sprinkle with half of the cheese mixture.

Top with remaining biscuit pieces and cheese mixture.
